WHAT IS SPERM DONATION?

It is a treatment method preferred in male factor infertility cases where sperm is absent in the semen due to inherited or environmental factors, sperm cannot be obtained from the testicles via surgical operations such as micro-TESE, or a healthy embryo cannot be obtained due to the current structure of the sperm.

Couples who are unable to achieve pregnancy and have baby due to male factor infertility are offered IVF treatment using certified, tested, healthy and reliable sperms with proven fertility that are selected from the sperm bank in line with the protocols.

HOW DO WE SELECT THE IDEAL SPERM DONOR FOR YOU?

EuroIVF In Vitro Fertilization Center uses the sperm samples selected from Denmark Cryos Sperm Bank, a certified sperm bank in compliance with and approved by the current legal regulations of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus.

Donors are screened for any potential infectious diseases and genetic disorders that may be inherited by the baby. As per the standard procedure, donors undergo a comprehensive screening for diseases such as syphilis, chlamydia, cystic fibrosis, hepatitis, and Mediterranean Anemia.

In sperm donation, the information of both the donor and the receiver are kept strictly confidential.

For that reason, couples seeking IVF treatment who bring their own donors are not offered treatment as per our donation and donor match principles, even if the donor is suitable in terms of sperm quality and carries no infectious diseases.
Instead of creating a donor pool that is large in terms of quantity, our aim is to offer our treatment-seeking patients the most ideal sample from a top-quality donor pool.
